LOS ANGELES (AP) — ‘N Sync have a hit with an album they didn’t even know was released.

Sony/Legacy quietly released “The Essential ‘N Sync” last month which has already climbed to number 25 with no promotion. Lance Bass tells Billboard he was “shocked” to learn about the album.

Bass says he wishes they could have been involved because, for one thing, he would have pushed not to include the song “Here We Go.”

He says that song has always bothered him because it’s so dated.

So, with a successful album, perhaps a reunion? Bass says he doesn’t see that happening because Justin Timberlake will never come back to the group.
